2022 Handweavers Guild of America's Convergence Conference.
About this event
The ultimate international fiber art experience. Located in Knoxsville, Tennessee, this was an exciting week of activities, events and a very special tour "A Toast to Weaving the Past with the Present".
Highlights
- Nancy Peterson’s yardage titled Appalachian Dogwood Spring was the 1st place entry in the 2020 competition and was on display.
- Hers and Sherri Dudeck’s yardage pieces were accepted for this year’s competition.
- Patricia Self represented us well in the handspun yarn competition, winning four ribbons.
- Congratulations to Weavers Guild of OKC's Patricia Self – winner of three Skein Competetion awards!
- Congratulations to Weavers Guild of OKC's Patricia Self – winner of three Skein Competetion awards!
- And, finally, just for fun, WGOKC placed first in the shuttle race.
