Weavers Guild of Oklahoma City provides two levels of weaving classes and a spinning class.
All classes are offered at our studio at 2905 Epperly Drive, Del City, OK.

Beginning
Weaving Class
Fundamentals of Weaving on a Four Shaft Loom
This foundation class focuses on:
- Loom set up
- Understanding basic weave patterns (plain weave and twill variations)
- Weaving terminology
Creating sound structure and developing good weaving habits will be emphasized. Reading drafts will also be covered. Each student will have the exclusive use of a loom for the duration of the class. All supplies are furnished for this class, including the warp and weft.
This 6-week course (18 hours total) meets once a week for 3 hours.
Two class days are available:
Tuesday from 5 pm to 8 pm OR Thursday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Students will not meet both days.

Intermediate
Weaving Class
Refine your warping and weaving skills with a project of your choice
Intermediate students will refine your warping and weaving skills with a project of your choice.
Choose from our extensive collection of pre-designed patterns, or develop original designs with assistance from the instructor.
Each student will work at their own pace, but group discussion and instruction will be part of your classroom experience. Acquiring new skills and exploring new materials will be encouraged, and documenting your project will be part of the class.
Each student will have exclusive use of one of our looms for the duration of the class, plus open studio times available. Other necessary weaving equipment is provided for each student, but students must supply their own warp and weft.
